A solutions architect with circa 25 years demonstratable experience in design, implementation, migration and operations of complex solutions in large enterprises to support clients long-term business strategy with a specialisation in cloud technology based upon Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Experienced within the managed service provider arena acting as a trusted advisor in facilitating client strategy, through scoping, leading and delivery of solutions specifically in retail, financial services and public sector verticals.

Highly customer-focused with a proven track record to operate both tactically and strategically in different environments. Takes initiative with a proactive approach including consideration of broader objectives in overall engagement and dedication to the client’s success.

Experienced in the delivery of Well Architected Reviews which helps to advise clients on how well their workloads align with the 6 pillar of the Well Architected Framework including Operational Excellence, Security, Performance Efficiency, Reliability, Cost Optimisation and Sustainability. Replaying the results of the review back to the client and assisting with the creation of a prioritised backlog of items that require improvement and when applicable assisting with there remediation. In addition, helps drive the strategy for Client Migrations to AWS leveraging partner progams such as the Migration Acceleration Plan (MAP) and the facilitation of Migration Readiness Assesments (MRA).

Well versed in the configuration of Landing Zones built upon both the AWS Landing Zone Solution and it’s sucessor AWS Control Tower including there customisation to support the clients objectives using tools such as Customisations for Control Tower and the Security Reference Architecture.

I hold 12 of the 12 currently available AWS certifications with specialisations including Networking, Security, Database, Data Analytics, Machine Learning & SAP on AWS.
